POF Proof of Funds question... before EE?...selling car...

Hi there,

I have a question regarding proof of funds. I already looked through other threads and got even more confused. I have not filed an EE profile yet. My husband and I will get the funds required by selling our car.

1. Is it true that you need to have the funds for at least 6 months in your bank account?
If not,
2. Is it ok to file EE and wait for ITA, and then sell the car before e-APR?
3. In the EE interface, how much information do they ask for regarding proof of funds?

1 - No.
2 - Yes.
3 - They only ask how many funds you'll bring to Canada, your answer has to be equal or greater than the minimum required funds.
