Will it reflect in my case?
Actually most people report no reflection of this in their application status.

I think my friend @jpv2212 from April AOR can help you out here. He paid RPRF on request. @jpv2212 can you please tell that where was your payment reflected in your application after you paid RPRF, or how to check that it has been updated in your file? Highly appreciate.

Hahahhahahhahahha I know, but I am more of countryside or peaceful city type person, and my sister tells Toronto is opposite. So, let's see (Baaki haje dekho:)) where I land a job and Waheguru takes me:)
I reckon you already have a job waiting at Ottawa branch of IRCC @gurik. It is quite possible that you might be analyzing the files of Indian applicants and filling out the GCMS notes on the basis of your thorough and rigorous checks 2 to 3 months down the line at any state-of-the-art premises of IRCC in Ottawa ;) In fact, this very idea of working with IRCC as an analyst has motivated me to head to Ottawa now instead of leaving for Vancouver.

Btw, how was your trip to the VFS office at Chandigarh? How long did it take you to get through with the entire process there? Did you have to fill out any form in there? Lastly, how much did you pay in total at the VFS?

Sorry I was saying that I was informed that my case is currently being processed at the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia. Does that indicate anything regarding the progress?

Hello everyone, I trust that everyone is having a gear day/evening. I am a FSW-O applicant; AOR -May 10th; Medicals passed-June 27th; BG Status-Not Applicable since June 27th (I missed the IP1 status change); all fees were paid upfront and now contemplating whether to request Case Notes. However, I am reminded that there are probably more than one hundred thousand applications (many with multiple applicants) from various categories that the CIC has to process each year. In addition, each file requires a series of checks and balance, which, oftentimes, are quite time-consuming. Therefore, the six months timeframe which is given is a more than reasonable time to wait for a decision of this magnitude.
Nevertheless, the majority of cases are still processed in three to four months, on average. If we had indeed budgeted to wait for six months, then anything prior to that time should be pleasantly surprising. I understand that it is human nature to worry and be impatient, especially about things over which we have no control; but we have to take a few moments to breathe, relax and enjoy the last few moments prior to that magical email. After all, we wouldn't want to go to Canada as stressed out individuals now, do we? I still remain optimistic that something will materialize on my file in the not too distant future. It is when you are least expecting it that the emails come...(a watched pot never boils). Have a great day everyone; stress is a silent killer. Relax and take it easy...

Hi @gurik,

Yes, I had paid RPRF upon request for the same.

When I paid the fees, they had sent me a payment confirmation receipt in pdf format. I was instructed to upload the same receipt through MyCIC account.
When you receive an RPRF request, your MyCIC account will show 'RPRF fees pending' in your 'Documents checklist' section. It'll have a blank field to upload the receipt.
Once you upload it, then it'll show 'RPRF receipt submitted'.

However, apart from the payment confirmation receipt, you won't get any type of status change in your account. But, rest assured as the receipt itself is a proof that you have paid it (it states 'Payment successful').
Some people get some changes in their 'Additional doc' sentence, but many don't.

Hope it helps.
