I am just curious to know what happens if the photos we send are not acceptable, maybe if they find them tampered or the things written on the back are not legible. Do they ask for new ones?
I have read posts about CIC asking for photographs again sometimes for PR cards, but no case about CoPR. They should ask most likely IMO, I hope they don't refuse due to this stupid reason:oops::confused:. @astralsource ,@johnsyk, need your expertise here.

So my file still shows NA under BG check, I've completed IP1, but haven't yet gone to IP2 :(
One good thing is that my documents are now showing "we don't need additional documents", even though I didn't give them any. What do you guys think?

You have read right. Nothing to worry about photos for COPR. For PR cards , they sometimes ask again for photographs.

Thats actually nice . Someone checked your profile and found all the required documents are present

This is the best time to order GCMS notes but I think you will get PPR before than notes. :):)

With respect to landing deadline, my understanding is that landing can be done any time prior to expiry of medicals. However, one of my acquaintances (who is a Canadian citizen now) told me that you may need to land within 3 months of CoPR date (he was not sure though, as he had immigrated long back, and the rules change time-to-time). Can anyone, who has got his/her passport stamped, confirm what is the deadline for landing?

@infinix - even my visa office is CIO Sydney when I checked last. I'm going to call on Monday as well. I think our case will be processed completely there and go for only final decision and PPR to LVO. That's also probably why we are following a different timeline from the rest of the folks who have their PPR processed at ottawa. I know someone from UAE who went to IP2 last week and still no PPR yet since I don't think the case was processed at Ottawa. Ottawa is like a rocket. I think the rest of us probably have to wait till 100 - 120 days. I will call CIC on Monday and find out more details.

Congrats to all. Looks like it was a good day for April applicants.

But whats happening with the FSW appliants from March, especially from India. looks like a few of them are stuck as per the thread. Its very concerning seeing a lot of ppr mails have been sent to april FSW candiates and that too from India only.
AOR since 16th March 2017
IP2 since 21/07

Anybody with any insight ? Its making me soo nervous.

I suggest you email: CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca to make inquiries on your file. Although it is still within the six-month timelines, but application are getting processed faster these days.

Landing deadline is 1 year from medical exam date or expiry of passport - whichever is earlier. That's confirmed and no ambiguity there!

The trend I've seen is that most of the PPR in the current wave are April folks who were all from india living in india and all processed in Ottawa. There are people I know in March from india still waiting, the ones not processed in Ottawa. We just have to wait it out...
