This is in the admissibilities section not the activities section.

The security section in this admissibilties section is now about 1.5 pages long. Is yours this long also?
Mine is also about 1.5 pages. With instruction to partners as 0 and instructions from partners as 0. What about yours for the instruction to/from partners? Thanks.

Just got reply from CSIS.
They told me my SS was started April 28th and was finished June 12th.

I have no idea what does CIC need now. Raising CSE with the scan of CSIS response.
How does one contact CSIS ?

Yeah they are both marked as 0 for instructions to/from partners. The blank space definitely increased in size though from my previous GCMS notes two months back.

CSIS is just one of the many data sources CIC will look at as part of the SS. The CSIS check is often almost instant.

So i havent requested the CSIS letter for this reason as it doesn't mean much in itself.

Yeah, mine expanded in size too and the first GCMS note did not have the "partner' thing. Did not notice that before. Thanks for pointing that out. Keep us posted and good luck with the application!

Whats the last two activities that you are seeing on your GCMS notes? Possibly you ordered the GCMS notes too soon for these 3 activities to appear.

I am not alone in this situation, but I do pray we all come out of it quickly.
CEC inland AOR 08-Jan-2017 - Pakistani
Eligibility, Medical, Criminality - all passed
Stuck in Security screening since 15March2017.

Sent email to CPC Ottawa, and they send generic reply " Your file under review and requires additional verifications. As a result, assessment period will be outside of our posted processing times".

So I think I am in for long time, but I hope and pray its shorter..

NOV 24---------DEC 30---------APR 13---------3M
FEB 28---------AUG 30----------APR 30---------8M

There is no data for applicants with BCIP in January, and this may explain the lack of PPRs in May. Aplicants with BCIP on Feb 17 and Feb 28 are still waiting for their PPRs.

Good luck for us all!
I am spouse sponsorship. My husband security screening is in progress since 3 Jan 2017 (aslo activity 3 in my gcnote is jan 3rd). CSIS started working on it 3 Jan and finished the report 7 April and sent it to IRCC. Still waiting. So 6.5 months so far. IRCC said in background check since 24 Oct (also in myCIC background check changed to in progress on 24 Oct) but it seems there was a confusion and they actually sent the file to CSIS on Jan 3rd.

Sorry to hear about that. I happen to know aother applicant whose background check changed into in progress at early-November, Her security screening started at that time, but was canncelled at early January and re-started again in the same day.

Best of luck with the application!.

Guys .. I called CIC yesterday using Skype technique .. I got through within 12-13 mins .. the person on other side was good and calm. After doing all security check formalities, he informed that our (wife : main applicant + me : dependent) profile has no problem at all. There are no red flag raised on any section and looks excellent to go. But no idea why it is stuck or no update from immigration officer side. He has no authority to check what exactly immigration officers can see and why they are holding it up. We explained to him that its been 8 months since AOR and 3 months since BGIP status change. He said, he couldn't help much to overcome this situation and informed us to be patient.

We have ordered for GCMS notes and will receive in 2-3 weeks time. Only that can give us clearer picture. So calling CIC wont help, but getting GCMS notes and then raising CSE's will push the application forward.

So my question is if my profile is good to go with no red flags, then why we are stuck for 3 months (since BGIP) without PPR. We are frustrated with this kind of treatment for some candidates while others have got their PPR's and already landed. They should process such candidates ASAP rather than clearing some in just 1 or 2 months since AOR.

How I can overcome this situation and get my file moving again within CIC?

Thank you and hope all get PPR soon.
