I am physiotherapist with 8 yrs of experience and want migrate to Canada. I want to ask whether i have work as PTA initially ? What is the average salary of a PTA ? Is this salary/income of PTA enough to live in Canada ?
Did you complete MPT or BPT, which University? I have heard with BPT one can work as PTA, I think salary is around 30-45k in Ontario. To work as PT you need to clear the licence exam, after landing in Canada and getting your degree evaluated through alliancept.org. if you are BPT you may have to write additional course to match your degree as per Canada. If MPT then you may not need to take additional course , that you can confirm after getting your degree evaluated. But before all these process, you need to enroll in express entry, clear IELTS, get your current degree evaluated by WES or other organizations.
