I got my ITA yesterday based on 2-year work experience, but calculate by date, my 2-year work experience will be completed in August.

Since my WP will expire in July, I plan to submit my documentation for CEC application before the expiration and then apply for BOWP. So when CIC check my case, I will be working under implied status or BOWP and complete my 2-year work experience.

Now my question is, how long the work experience will count, will it stop at the AOR date, or as long as I am working before CIC check my case?

Hope seniors could help me with that. I am sooooooooo confused!

If your work permit expires in July then you cannot claim 2 year work exp points. My suggestion would be to decline the ITA and update your express entry profile with the current status - July 2017 as end date for your exp until and until you have an other job starting immediately.

Is your score higher than the recent cut off with just 1 year exp? If yes, go ahead and accept it

However CIC gave me that points when it was 1 year and 11 months. And if I accept the ITA and get AOR I can apply for BOWP to work until 2-year experience completed. Isn't it an appropriate choice?

It won't work based on the information you've provided. You've said that you won't have 2 years of work experience until August and that your work permit expires in July - but that you plan to submit your application before your work permit expires. If you do that, you'll be applying with less than 2 years of work experience and will be refused. Your OWP will also be refused which means any work after the expiry of your work permit will be classified as illegal work and won't be counted as work experience.

But I saw on CIC website that if my BOWP is "refused" I still can be benefited by the implied status, if it is "rejected" for incompleteness I cannot.

So do you mean CIC will calculate my score based on the time of the submission of my documents, not on their checking time??

CIC really need to fix this issue of assigning points by month or however they do

A lot of people have faced issues and stress

They should assign points by exact date

I want to say that you should apply since its on CIC as they assigned you points for 2 years even before you completed that period but you actually can not and should not

Are your points still above the cut off with 1 year experience?

Your application will be refused because CIC stops counting your work exp at the date you get ITA and as you said you did not have full two years of work exp by the 12th of July.

well I hope it to be an opportunity to get my PR... I have heard someone apply it directly and get PR. But there are also people said the application would be refused.....

It is them who added the points.. It's not my fault right? It seems some people wait until they complete the 2-year work experience and then submit application. And could I also submit more documents after I got AOR?

I have thought that it was them who added the points, so that would not be my trouble to worry about it. Unfortunately my points aren't above the cut-off.... I have got 426 with 1 year and 451 with two years.

That's not the right reasoning (the bolded part), as stated in the IRCC's website it is every applicant's responsibility to ensure that they possess the qualifications for which they are applying with. It doesn't matter how the system counts the work experience, it is up to you to make sure you're claiming the right number of years of work experience.

If you submit your eAPR you'd be applying full knowingly that you do not have two years of work experience.

So I am really curious whether CIC will calculate my score based on the time of the submission of my documents, or on their checking time... If they calculate until the checking time, my work experience may be completed 2-year then.
