My question is when are peoples apply for visa extention? In what situation?...my other question i that on my acceptance letter both EAP and pre-health program are mentioned and then it says conditions of zis offer completion of EAP program Dec 22,2018...am confused because when i fill the cic form IMM1294 ...it asks level of study and duration ? On what am i rly confused is that am i going to choose my level EAP or pre-health??? And also for the duration am i going to add both the duration of EAP and pre-health duration????? What about the tuition am i going to sum up both EAP and pre-health tuitions???

Visa extension is something which people apply when they already have a study permit , and that is about to expire.

EAP (English for academic purposes) is the course you are supposed to complete before the given date, it's a requirement from the college for international students whose first language is not English. However in your visa application, Just mention about pre-health program.

Yes you are going to pay additional fee for EAP or you can also give ielts in order not to take EAP program.

So my study permit application will be for both EAP and pre-health program??? Not only for EAP. ... when i search on cic web site it says "students with conditional LOA the VO give visa for ESL first then they will need to apply for new study permit for other program after succesfull completion of EAP..,,,is that my case too??

Plus is there a d/c b/n EAP and ESL?

Just the documents listed on the upload documents page. When I sent y application, I just had about a month before my previous study permit expires. I provided my financial documents (affidavit of support from my parents - notarized by a lawyer, bank documents), statement of account from my college showing that my full fees have been paid, passport pages + old study permit, co-op letter, enrollment verification letter. In my explanation letter, I just stated why I decided to continue studying, when my last program finished (December), when my current program started (January) and why I only applied now (waited for my co-op letter from school so I can apply for them together - coop letter was given late May). Also, I gave them explanation as to why I took this second program and how it is booming back home - always remember that you still need to convince them that you are coming back home after graduating. So I provided examples of where I can apply for a job related to this field in my home country.

My permit is expiring July 31st and I applied May 3rd the same day you did.
All they take into consideration, when making a decision on your application,is whether you provided all the documents they requested.

Even mine is expiring on July 31st ... My file was submitted on June 1st please keep updating about it. Its giving me anxiety.. Hope they approve it by this week

Processing time is 2 months...........you should get update this week

You have to wait till first week of next month.
