Thanks for the reply. Did you ever hear someone getting points for both the masters ? Is there a way to know this beforehand to applying WES. Oh, is WES should i go with or anyother that you recommend.

Again, appreciate your help. Thank you.
You will get the maximum points for single masters i.e. 135, if you are not married.

As for WES, it is the most trusted organization. So i would recommend WES only.

Best of luck!

Call or email WES. Emaill will be best. They don't pick up phone so easily.

Logically, you need to consider the transcript of the university which granted you the degree certificate.
I would suggest you to send email to WES, they reply in 48 hours generally. Only they will be able to give you best solution.

I think it might be useful for anyone to comment if their application was successful with just their highest degree being claimed for points with an ECA. I have a Canadian Masters so it really doesn't make much sense for me to get my bachelor's evaluated.
Read my reply above. Apparently it does.

Can you share the exact reason your application was cancelled? This seems unlikely, as several members of this forum have only had their highest qualifications evaluated and have been successful. Also, you are only required to submit documentation to corroborate your points. If you had an ECA for your doctorate, as you said, you wouldn't get extra points for having an ECA for your bachelores.

Also, did you add the unevaluated Bachelors degree to your Education History?
I agree to your argument about not getting points. But in the application you are supposed to enter ALL degrees you earned (not doing so might count as misrepresentation if they ever discover you have more degrees than you stated). When you enter all your degrees it only makes sense to have the ECA's done for ALL degrees.

My cancellation letter specifically said something like "ECA missing for bachelors degree". And yes, I did provide information about my bachelors masters and phd while applying.

Hey guys,

I have completed two post-grad certificates from Canada, I am in my home country right now and looking to apply for Express Entry from here. Do I still need to get my bachelors and masters evaluated from WES?

Your help will be much appreciated.

Have a good one :)
Yes you should! See my post above.

The thing is, you shouldn't have mentioned about your Bachelor's in your Education history section if you did not have an ECA for it. If you had an ECA for your Doctorate and Masters alone, you should have mentioned only those in your Education history section and saved your bachelor's for the personal history section alone.

Also, did you submit your degrees along with the ECA? If you didn't submit your degree(s), then that might have been the contributing factor to your refusal.
Yes I think I did the wrong thing as you mentioned in your reply. But I went through the whole process again and I finally have my CoPR and PR visa :);)...planning to land next week and nervous as hell!!:oops:o_O.

Please read my reply in: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/landing-proof-of-funds-and-the-format-city-of-destination-b4-forms-landing-experience.514211/

and please reply with answers if you can!

Thanks in advance.

Absolutely not. I did not mention my Bachelors degree in my education history but it is clearly mentioned in my personal history. There's nothing for them to "discover". I didn't even upload my bachelor's degree.

Your degree is irrelevant to your application unless you're claiming points based on it.

"My cancellation letter specifically said something like "ECA missing for bachelors degree". And yes, I did provide information about my bachelors masters and phd while applying."

I don't know the specifics of your case. Did you have an ECA for your PhD or Masters? Did you mention your bachelors degree in your education history or did you just mention it in the personal history section?

Did you submit your education degrees when you were rejected the first time? I havent seen any rejections for bachelors not getting done when someone has a masters ECA done. Its quite clear on CIC that ECA is needed only for highest degree.
I'm pretty sure I added all 3 degrees in my education section, instead of adding 2 degrees with ECA in education and adding 1 degree without ECA in personal information section. I don't remember the structure of the online profile creation right now but this might be the case.

But this only caused a couple of months of delay since my bachelors ECA was already on the way.

Though, if someone is applying for EE why not get all degrees evaluated even before you create your profile; there might be people who might not be as lucky as me to get ITA twice in a row.

Have you uploaded your degrees? evaluation is not needed for all degrees, just the highest is enough
I did upload all degrees when I applied and I guess that was why they expected the ECA. But now all that is done and I'm approved.
