Lols .. thanks just received PPR ,, passport not yet submitted for visa stamp.. plan to fly by next year..

You have to submit your passports....sometimes it takes up to one month for stamping.... I think within six months we have to landed over there....

yeah, 4 weeks as they mentioned in PPR..
PR is valid for one year from medical or passport expiration which ever comes earlier..

Looks like NDVO is working on November/December cases, hopefully they would start working on January cases soon and we will get the request for PPR.

No. I am 4 Nov. CIC applicant. Nothing happened till now.

barring few cases they are taking 1-2 months to move from medical to PPR stage, hopefully this trend continues so that our applications are also considered quickly.

Ashu, I think this is not correct, airlines will check only for the passport validity and the visa expiry.
