Hi,

How long does it take to receive a request for medical for the permanent resident application applied in Canada under Quebec Skilled Worker category?

Federal File : 18 Oct, 2016
UCI : 4 Feb, 2017
RPRF (Landing Paid) : 28 Feb, 2016
Yet to received medical request ?
(GCkey showing all family member's UCI separate. also if you need medical examination. message and instruction will be sent

It's been around 9-10 months and I have not received any request for medical. Any idea what could have delayed? Any suggestions?

. One of friends from India vo new Delhi application for federal filed in August 2016,medical done in December has already landed in Montreal.Application finalised within 9 months.But many of us are already past 9 and still no advance in processing..Quite unfair ...

Just now one of my friend told me he met 3 people in bangalore who came for paper work in karnataka nursing council prior to nursing registration in canada, they are also under qsw and did their medical in jan 6.. the big news is they all 3of them got ppr 3months back itseems... That means after medical april they got ppr and they r going montrial in this month end.. Lucky guys.... I really dont know where is our file got stuck... My fnd and me did the medical before them and we r stuck like all the others...

Dear SBP

Really don't know why our cases are getting delayed by cic, it's nothing moving in NDVO because some of us has already crossed 13 or 14 months since the date of application, but DM yet.

So I think we all should wait patiently for our turn, but really don't know when it will be!!!!

May be they processed on priority basis due to area of training. what's your opinion ?

Few months back, MIDI had sent out an email to CSQ holders mentioning that CIC might expedite processing of PR for outland CSQ holders with Job Offers waiting in Canada. Also mentioned was a link of a sort of Job bank created by MIDI for CSQ holders to connect with Quebec employers.

If you check my posting history for threads started by me, you will find that thread. I can't find that email in my email account and for some reason I cannot find list of threads started by me in this forum but i can check threads started by others. LOL.

Hi Friends...

My representative has recently inquired about my status from NDVO.
And this is what i got to know..

(Please be advised your file is pending initial review. At present no action is required on your part.

Once the review is complete, our office will contact you with further instructions).

Now my question is what does this initial review stands for??...Means they have opened up my file or have not yet touched even?
Also how long more it should take now? as my file is already in 14th month of processing

experts please advice!!
