@andy108 please add me to the whatsapp group. I PM-ed you my number, don't want to share it in a public forum.Hi Guys,
As we are all anticipating OINP to open sometimes soon, either in the remaining days of 2016 or sometimes in 2017 - I propose we all get together here, chat, discuss, share updates, predict and then share good news... once PT notifications would start coming through.
First of all there is a good thread with info on OINP: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/oinp-ee-human-capital-priorities-stream-comprehensive-guide-t396543.0.html prepared by rajkamalmohanram.
Secondly, we have a watsapp group, pm or leave your number if you want to be added.
Finally, I am new to OINP myself, so I will try help whenever I can with advise or provide a pointer where to look for an advice.
Good luck to everyone!
I saw someone in the other thread saying her brothers status changed from Assessment to DIP. He had submitted on June 29. Thats good news for us. I have also submitted on July 1. Its N/A for me too.but they got NOI before july. I got NOI on June 30, submitted on July 1 and yet in submitted status.
btw whats is EOI score in the OINP status page? do you see anything? for me it is N/A.
1) Your passport should be valid for at least two more years. If you are unable to renew your passport prior to applying to the program, you must apply with your current passport and provide an explanation of why your passport could not be renewed at the time of the application.Hey guys, I am getting worried because my US passport will expire in 9 months, and my birth certificate (from Asia) might be lost.
1) Has anyone been able to get Ontario nomination with a passport that will expire in fewer than 2 years? Here in the US it normally takes 6-8 weeks to renew a passport, and even expedited service takes 2-3 weeks. We also have to send our current passport in with our renewal application form, so I would be without a passport and unable to go to Canada for at least 2-3 weeks. I am waiting on a job offer from an employer in Canada, and with my luck, I'm worried that if I send my passport for renewal, I will get the job offer the next day but be unable to start or even get a temporary work permit processed for a while and the company might lose interest, or if I wait until I get to Canada to renew my passport, then the job offer will never come ... and of course, I would like to submit my application as soon as possible.
2) If I can't locate my birth certificate, what could I submit as a substitute? I was born in Asia (and therefore would need to get the birth certificate translated if I am able to locate it) but was naturalized and have been living in the US since early childhood. I don't see why a US passport isn't enough proof of date of birth, but apparently Ontario wants both passport and birth certificate.
Thanks. I am wondering if my hope to come to Canada as soon as possible first as a temporary worker while I wait for my permanent residence application and plan to renew my passport after coming to Canada would be good enough explanation, but I am thinking of just submitting my passport for expedited renewal instead of worrying. It seems that at least when applying for a temporary work permit, only a copy of the passport is required, and it would take at least 2 weeks to get the temporary work permit, so the 2-3 week expedited timeframe might be ok.1) Your passport should be valid for at least two more years. If you are unable to renew your passport prior to applying to the program, you must apply with your current passport and provide an explanation of why your passport could not be renewed at the time of the application.
2) You can provide an official letter from your country of birth that explains why your birth certificate isn't available. That's usually enough proof if you don't have a birth certificate.
Hope that helps!

That's the minimum amount you should have based on your marital status..I suggest you mention little bigger amount but which you can also prove in your last 6 months statement..Hi , i am going to enter the express entry pool, and expecting to get that NOI for OINP. for the fund in express entry profile do I have to show the 12300 right now to even get invitation?
Crs-422You are good to go if your work experience is within last 5 years of your mentioned NOC.
What is your CRS and NOC?
As per the requirement you should have 1 year of work experience, which you have even when you stopped working in Sep 2013. Just check the eligibility requirements once and use the NOI if you still meet the requirements.Crs-422
Noc-2283
It is N/A. I think it doesn't matter. Why are you worrying about it?in the status page, what is the value in the EOI Score field?
