NEED INPUTS - BACKGROUND check in progress for more than 1.5 months

My medical passed 27 April 2017 and the status changed to BACKGROUND verification in progress for more than 2 months now. I a a little worried about it. Is it normal that this time frame is this long or what.?

No. I just traveled to California once last year and thats about it.

I have read on this forum that sometimes you go directly from IP1 to PPR, so that can also happen.
Otherwise ordering notes will be good idea to see what's happening.
