IMM 5406

Hi

I hope someone can help me with 2 specific questions.
The first one is about the IMM 5406, I was reading the guide line and in marital status they specific said if you are married in the marital status :

• write “married – physically present” in the marital status box
• If you are married and you were not physically present at the marriage, write “married – not physically present” in the marital status box.

The problem is that is not enough space to put that many words in that box, I tried many times

And the second question is about the IMM 5532 in the Sponsorship Evaluation and Information about the Sponsor they said "Addresses should be written out in full without using any abbreviations", but once again if there´s no enough space how can you fill out the information without abbreviations in that box?

where did you read (write “married – physically present” in the marital status box), if you are married?

Because i just wrote Married.

can you share the link where you read the guidelines.

I'm right there with you! Did you ever get any clarification on this? I've tried on both accounts many times too! I think if I don't sort anything else out, I am just going to fit what I can and I will have to abbreviate USA

Yes sure in the part STEP 3 feeling up the forms regarding IMM 5406 says:
SECTION A
Write the personal details for:

• Yourself (the person being sponsored),
  • If you are married and you were physically present at the marriage, write “married – physically present” in the marital status box
  • If you are married and you were not physically present at the marriage, write “married – not physically present” in the marital status box. Note that we do not recognize marriages by proxy.

Why can't you just write it in black pen afterwards? Just a thought.
