Dear Shirley,
What I mean by that is I should have emailed the required docs as well as uploading them on Gckey. I thought they would get my documents from Gckey but obviously there had been a problem; either they hadn't seen it or there had been a glitch.
For your case, I believe you did the right thing by mailing your schedule A. I don't know if you called and confirmed that they received it or not. But that's one thing that you better do.

My husband in canada has been trying to call them so many times. And i sent email,they replied like this:

We note that this file is currently within processing standards. We do not respond to status enquiries if the application is within normal processing times.

Hello guys I just received a message from the consulate of los Angeles asking for an interview with my spouse in LA VO on September 20 and they are asking for medical too with that. This will make the process to be taking 6 months from start till the end.

It is but its very rare. Eligibility can take quite some time. This is when they review all docs submitted and review the genuinity of the relationship. This stage can often take longer than background check. You can always order your notes which take 30 days to see where you are at
