I am of the opinion that it will cause confusion. Double submission through different portals is not a good idea in my mind.

We mailed ours and had no issues. We mailed Schedule A, Medical, Police, all with tracking. Had no problems. Within days of signing for Schedule A they added it to our application and in a matter of weeks got VO transfer.

So is it ok not to upload it online? I thought all the while, after that initial paper application, all additional submissions will be via online.

There are different ways of uploading it online. The recommended way is to link your paper application to your CIC account and upload the documents when you get request. Other way is to use the web form and send the documents through it.

congrats for getting schedule A and PCC request. Are you able to see any link in myCIC to upload docs? Regarding the photos, do you have separate link to upload that too? I'm still waiting for any email regarding PCC and schedule A requests....

i have an upload for pictures too .. thats why i am wondering what should i do .. i'll call them and verify ..

i also do see an upload button for sch a and pcc - this will only be triggered once the PA (or the email listed/noted on the gckey account) gets an email ..

In your sealed envelope you said that you had pictures of your wedding ceremony AND your husband's passport size photo, but CIC only requested for 15-20 pictures of the ceremony and not your husband's pp photo. That probably means that the envelope wasn't lost and that they were able to open the scotch tape sealed envelope. Otherwise they would have definitely asked for your husband's pp photo as well. They probably just wanted more proof of the relationship. If I were you I would make sure that these new photos are different from the 20 photos you submitted with the initial application in order to solidify the legitimacy of the relationship.

this makes more sense .. why on earth would they loose my pictures? i had all pictures sealed in one envelope so it was easier to handle .. i even knew that 20 pictures wudnt be enough .. i'll call and verify if they want differenct pictures than the ones i already submitted .. thank you Jptskt ..

Hi All,

My application did reach CIC on June 1st. Haven't heard back till then, no news on AOR.
is it normal or we need to start following up with cic.
It was a paper based application.

So I got my Schedule A and PCC request yesterday, however I was unable to upload the documents on my GCKey account. I checked today and its the same. But that's fine. I'm not worried about it at all since I have time. I will wait for one entire week to be able to upload the documents on my account. If that problem still exits after a week then I've decided to just go ahead and upload them through the IRCC webform since I know many people have successfully used the webform.

So my question is, is it advisable to submit the Schedule A and PCC through both the webform and mailing it to CIC? Is the double submission a good safe option or do you think it will create confusion and hence is an unwise move?

try it again .. i got the request today and i was successfully able to upload them ..

when i checked last time, filter was on for some columns. May be thats the case.

it's ok .. i reverted it back to few revisions back .. so who ever was there, put in your info again .. if any .. alot of rows got hidden so i had to revert it back to few mins ago ..
