I sent my documents on April 24th, via normal post might have reached there by end of the week. today on july 11th my credit card got charged.

I didn't know that. So does the 6 month validity apply only while beginning (AOR) or it has to be valid during the entire period of processing. I mean would somebody have to get a new PCC if their application decision has not been made within 6 months? Thank you!

It should be valid at the time of AOR. After that its not our concern.

I will submit in a week. I had enough time. I have applied for PCC even before making profile pre - ITA thinking that it's just $18.

YOu can check that from tracking number. FBI don't send any email? If you send an inquiry all they will be able to say is which dated package they are working on and that is it. They don't provide any other information until the application is processed.

Cool. I have still 78 days to submit my pr application. I have go my work exp and medical done and pcc from india too. I am planning to wait for atleast 65 days. I might get pcc from fbi. And then submit the pr application and pay the fees.
I hope they wont say that my work exp and medical were of a lot earlier date ...
Or should i apply for pr and explain in LOE about the fbi pcc ??
But i dont have any proof of fbi pcc, just the courier , that too mentions the name of my friend who send the documents to fbi.

Any suggestions ??

As long as the document is valid. ( i think medical is valid for 6 months and PCC for a year, please double check).. there won't be any issue.

Regarding FBI.. you can always explain in LOE and attache proof of postal receipts (in your case this maybe not helpful) + send email to FBI and attach screenshot of their reply + scanned docs if by any chance you took it.

It shouldn't be a problem.

Are you sure its delivered on 27th? Maybe call them and ask

Yes, I have the tracking number that says it was delivered on April 27th. I just called, and it's already 5PM on east coast.

Did you post it from the US (USPS, UPS or Fedex)?

I used USPS priority mail, yes, I am in the US

Don't worry. Last week they were processioning April 24th and 25th but they were randomly picking the packages among these dates. You will see the charge this week for sure.
