My spouse got an Update on our inland Canadian family Sponsorship, that says You do not require an interview. Does this mean that her application is being processed? Does anyone have any insights into this?
No interview required.

You're well within timeframe. It could mean that you MAY not have a relationship interview but you're still given a landing interview in order to receive your PR. It's approximately 5 mins.

Relationship interview is the question and answer we've all heard about. Could go from 30 mins to 2 hours
Landing interview is pretty much the welcome to Canada, confirmation of PR given with new sin interview which is roughly 5-10 mins total

More importantly you don't have to worry if your relationship is genuine and as a matter of fact they will give you time to address any concerns they will have. Are you applying in land? Did your wife not submit an OWP?
Yes it is an inland interview. No we didn't apply for a work permit. To be honest it was purely a slip of mind. Here is a rundown of the update they provided us:

If we need more information from you, or once a final decision has been made, we will contact you.
The review of your eligibility has not started yet.
The additional documents you provided are being reviewed.
Your medical results were successful.
You do not need an interview.
We do not need you fingerprints at this time.
We are processing your Background check.
Yes, you're in the final stages not to worry. Since you applied after Dec 7th as you may know the processing times are within 12 months and you're well in the timeframe so just give it sometime.
