We made a silly mistake which we just realized.
We somehow didn't see the instruction to fill the name in IMM5406 in both English and Native Language and ended up writing only in English.

Our Application has already been transferred to local Visa Office on June 30,2017.

Should we correct this now,? If so, how we can do it? via webform?

Hi, does your native language have their own characters? You could probably contact the VO and ask for suggestions.

Thank you :)

Hello
Good morning guys

Qs regarding below Proof of contact.
Anyone submitted whatsapp conversation/call logs ?. Would you please let me know how you did it ?
Our conversation with my spouse is all in different language. Can I convert it to English myself or do I need any approved translator ?

Proof of Contact: Provide letters, printed text messages, emails or social media conversations, or other documented proof of contact between you and your sponsor. Proivde a maximum of 10 pages. Reminder: All documents submitted to IRCC must be translated into either English or French.

Another Qs, Principal applicant can sign the documents and email me the forms ? or it should be couriered ?

Have a good day

Thanks
Adr

Hi Adr,

This video
could help you with exporting your chat.

As for the translation I personally did not as our conversations are a mix of English, French and native language. I did add a note that in any case translations or additional conversations are needed I would be ready to provide them. That being said you can provide the translations which would help your application.

I have read that some people who have done it had the translated version right below the original sentences. Also, I would advise that once your spouse has signed all the forms wherever needed to courier them to you rather than email. As much as you can preserve the documents' authenticity the better it will be for your application.

Good luck!!!

You're welcome. Phone could get you the support faster but email would work as well.

What communication are you expecting from them? It's only been a month since you sent documents in, unless I am missing something :) Also, the phone line always does that, it's sooo frustrating but you have to keep calling until you get through, it's the only way.

My status ECAS: 1. We received your application for permanent residence on April 4 ,2017. 2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application (AOR)on July 5. 3. We started processing your application on June 2. 4. Medical results have been received.
is this from SA ecas or PA ecas?

Well people received their AOR2 within a month after sending documents and mine has been more than that. So I don't see anything worng in expecting a communication.

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with it, but just for managing expectations...it could be months until you receive AOR2. This is for a couple of reasons. Firstly, backlog, people on holidays, etc, but secondly, CPC-M does some of the processing - which is a good thing. :) there are cases on the new application where people ordered their GCMS notes and they have started processing some parts of it prior to transfer, so it doesn't necessarily mean it's sitting there with no one working on it/there's no movement or progress on the application. I know it's frustrating to not hear anything but once it gets to the VO it goes radio silent for months and months (lol, it sucks!). What country are you applying from?

Ya

ya i get what you are saying, some days are really frustrating. I am sponsoring my husband from India.

hey guys a quick update on my spouse profile. We woke up to see an email saying we have a message on GCKEY. my spouse logged in and found she just got the medical request :). For those who are concerned, we haven't received any email saying whether the file has been transferred to VO. This gets me thinking that they are being processed within mississauga and then later sent to VO. Either way that is the update. I have updated the google sheets and my signature. cheers
