My lawyer made 3 copies of everything new I submitted one for us. One for CSBA and one for IAD. He made a nice exhibit book. Also my other evidence was my translated officers notes. As she made hers in French. Even though we checked off english. The bloody interview was all english. I asked my MLA to translate. They sent them to CIC and the English notes were evidence.
Alice, the officer ruled your marriage not genuine. But are there reasons why. Or you don't know all yet?

The Vo asked me what his jobs were and I said them all except I missed saying one of his jobs. He called me and asked me if my father in law was at the engagement party, I said no and it was only women, but in the denial letter, he said my father in law wasn't at our wedding! That's not what he asked me on the phone. The Vo said that my husband didn't know my kids names, and yes my husband knows their names, he just repeated one sons name twice. The company said I didn't know my husband work history. The vo said we had no honeymoon and we had a beautiful three day honeymoon in Casa and we provided pics and a receipt. The vo said that my husband has limited knowledge of my family. My husband hasn't met any of my family , only my sons, daughter, one sister, and my mom online. My family and I are not close. The vo said my husband only knew the occupations of two of my kids. Well I don't even know what they do. The vo said my husband didn't remember our engagement party date. We both didn't remember !! We looked at our pics to get a date. And because my husband would not go into detail about our sex life, the vo stated that my husband lacked emotion towards me!!! And that's what we got denied for.

Mary, did you wait for your blue book and then send in new evidence? Also what kind of new evidence did you provide? I'm planning on going to see my husband in September for a month, I figure I'll get my bluebook by late October . Mary, did you send new evidence with your appeal notice ? Or did you wait until they notified you of ADR or full hearing?

What provice are you in? What refusal reasons did the visa officer give you. If it's easily fixed yu may get a date for ADR it's not a full appeal. More informal and only an hour and quicker than an appeal date. However if you don't qualify for adr or lose adr you will still get an appeal date. My husband and I waited 2 yrs for an appeal date. Which we won. Now waiting for them to finish processing his app. I'm with Vancouver IAD. It's one of the faster regions. But am in Saskatchewan so no office here.

When you send in your appeal to Vancouver , do I need to send anything to prove that, what was written in our denial is false? Or just the notice to appeal? And how do they decide if our case gets sent to ADR or to full hearing? Thank you

With the refusal letter is a form to fill out. The appeal notice form. That needs to be sent in within 30 days. However after that they send you one back acknowledging they received it. In it they may ask for evidence in support of an adr. That seems to be how they are now, but ours was 2015, so it did not menton that. Sorry I had forgotten a little of your story. You did refresh my memory. I wonder if perhaps you should just reapply. What do others think?
When you are finally aware of an adr or appeal date you have 30/20 days to submit new evidence or it may not allowed at adr/appeal.

I did not send in any new evidence early. We waited. New evidence was just more proof of relationship. More trips, boarding passes, passport stamps, photos and phone bills. I figured I wouldn't send in Skype or messenger again. Did you order your GCMS notes. You will get them in one month. You will see what all officers wrote of your marriage especially the interview. About a month or two later they replied. They said our appeal needed a full day. Blah Blah Blah. Anyhow we needed 2 hours. Notified sometime in February about an early May morning slot they offered my lawyer. I jumped on it.

Oh I received the letter of acknowledgement of receipt of my appeal, but I don't see anything that says ADR. It says info about my appeal hearing at an IRB tribunal and they will decide my appeal . Says there will be an IAD member present and a someone from CBSA and myself and my lawyer if I get one.

BTW I been there for as long as 6 mos in 2014, was there 5 times at the time of interview and since filing appeal been back 4 times. I just returned, that's 10 times. CIC finish with us already geez. Think we have spent more than half our marriage together, we been married 3 yrs & 5 mos.

I'm planning on moving there in May 2018. I'll go for a month in September and again in February , then for a year in May .

I figured I wouldn't send in Skype or messenger again. Did you order your GCMS notes. You will get them in one month. You will see what all officers wrote of your marriage especially the interview. All that will be in your bluebook. The bb is a copy of your file. In November I sent a fax to complain to IAD about our file and experience and not being offered an ADR. Do you what, even though it says they are open to the public, I asked my lawyer if I could so I could gain some insight. He said no. Also because they are recorded, they will go on CanLi website. You can go there and search for appeals, based on not genuine marriage and other. Some are other cultures. But you will find Moroccan cases. I don't think I would have appreciated any strangers in our boardroom. I didn't mind who had to be there. Our lawyer, minister's counsel, judge and security guard. You can also google Western Region court proceedings. It has a list of all western provinces, names, date&time & what kind of appeals. However Regina disappeared from it when I was watching it.
