Hello Guys

Sent our passports to Accra yesterday via VFS. I had used VFS before I stumbled on this thread yesterday. Going by what I read the preferred mailing option is DHL going by their faster processing. We can only wait at this point. Has anyone had a quick passport delivery after COPR from VFS?

My CIC account now shows document needed. Says I should upload passports and a new placeholder to upload same has been provided with a submission timeline. I'm I meant to upload all my family's passport bio data pages?

Thanks

Good day all.

Please I need your advice.

I received PPR on June 15 and my passport arrived Accra (Solomon Akoto) at 7:50am on 21 June via DHL (#19,500). It has been over two weeks now and I have not received any information or updates via my CIC portal or email. I have sent multiple emails, made calls, filled the web form, but there's been no response as to the status of my documents.

Could anyone advice on what else I can do? From reviews, it typically takes 5 days for the stamping.

Thanks people.

I can totally relate with your situation. The wait is freaking me out. I am beginning to wonder if they have processing times for Visa and COPR

Someone also submitted on the 16th of June. He hasn't received his passport back as well.

Please let me know if there is any progress with yours seeing as our submission dates are close to each other

Unlike with the VFS route, there is no tracking option besides the DHL arrival number. I'll just have to wait it out and send update when there's a change on my CIC page.

Even with the VFS route, there have been two Updates so far. The first update was tht the passport has been forwarded to Accra. The second update was tht the application is under processing in Accra

Called VFS and was told tht depending on Accra's work lord it sometimes takes 6-7 weeks. I don't even know what to make of tht information and why it must be tht long.

Did the person that submitted on the 16th go through VFS or DHL? When did you get the second update?

Excluding time to arrive Accra, the stamping previously took 5-7 business days (last year data). From what I've noticed, numbers have tripled, so stamping time has increased as well. I've decided to give them a 1-month window till 14 July.

I think we just have to wait and hope for a quick turn around time from Accra VO
Did the tracker say it has been forwarded to Accra or its under processing in Accra

Trying to get my mind off it . It comes when it comes.
