What is AOR ?

Hi Folks,

Have some ques on AOR.

What is AOR actually?

1. When would I get an AOR number post submission? I mean how long will it take to get one ?
2. If I get an AOR number does it mean all my documents are accepted and there is no chance of rejection?
3. If AOR does not confirm my documents then what does? Because I am planning to quit my current job based on the PR confirmation. So please help me, folks.

1. When would I get an AOR number post submission? I mean how long will it take to get one ? Its acknowledgement of receipt and u will receive in a day or two of submission of eAPR
2. If I get an AOR number does it mean all my documents are accepted and there is no chance of rejection? It only acknowledges that they received ur application and will start processing it and will let u know if they need anything else
3. If AOR does not confirm my documents then what does? Because I am planning to quit my current job based on the PR confirmation. So please help me, folks.
Quitting job has nothing to do with this. As long as u satisfy the eligibility criteria for express entry u can quit ur job

u will have to keep checking the status in ur login and it will updated there. I suggest u to join the thread of post AOR for ur ITA date

That would be the PPR - passport request. That's when you know you're going to get it.
