Hi,

My partner and I were living together in Sri Lanka for a period of two years. However we were not married. Now I'm in Canada as a permanent resident. Is there any possibility for me to sponsor my boyfriend as a common law partner to canada ?

Please advice

Thank you.

It depends. Did you declare your common law partner in your PR application when you immigrated and did your common law partner complete a medical and provide police checks? If so, then yes - you can sponsor your partner. If not, then you can never sponsor your partner since you failed to declare your partner in your PR application.

Your posts are all over the place... in others you've claimed to be married with kids or gotten PR a long time ago.

Are you a consultant posting questions for others? If so you should state you are asking on behalf of someone as it will cause less confusion to those trying to answer.
