Passports to CPC Ottawa- June 2017

I called again, first she said why are you calling again the same day? I apologized and requested for an update. Then she checked for me and said Yes they have sent my passport today also gave me the tracking number. But when I check fedex the tracking number shows no data found.

They told me its already sent out, but not activated yet.

Planning to go to Lewiston bridge first. If not thn rainbow and peace bridge later.

I heard they are only accepting 150 applications / applicants per day at each gateway... Not sure though... I will surely share my experience.

Same boat. I called them this morning they said they haven't sent out yet. DId your tracking# activated?

Yp. The FedEX tracking activated today afternoon.

Waited long time for PPR, now another wait for stamping PP. This is indeed a long stressed journey.

I called them to ask. Once they sent, they should be able to see the number in system

She gave me a tracking number too. But when I check Fedex tracking, the website shows; tracking information for your shipment is unavailable at this time.

I hope I noted down the correct tracking number

Maybe its delayed from sender. CIC kept our track number, but those sender haven't scan each package at that moment I m assuming.

Has anyone sent their passport to Ottawa on June 30 via Xpress Post? The tracking hasn't updated since it was accepted at the Post Office on June 30th and it's worrying me a little bit...

Maybe its delayed from sender. CIC kept our track number, but those sender haven't scan each package at that moment I m assuming.

I sent my passport on June 29th but the tracking only updated once to "item in transit" on June 30th and no movement since!! I thought with express post they actually scan it so we get updates no? This is so annoying given how much it cost to send it!

That's odd, I sent mine June 30th, regular mail, delivered July 4th as it was a long weekend. I live in Ottawa though so not much delivery distance.

I sent mine on June 30, regular mail. Got delivered on July 4th, next business day. I live Ottawa though, so not much travel time.
