Dear members:
The post ITA race for gathering documents is not as smooth as it seemed.
One of the easiest to get document seemed to be the birth certificate. Now, in my country (Pakistan) government birth registration system is in place in which we are to get the birth certificate only from the district council where I have a permanent address. Fair enough. Now I just received my birth certificate which is supposed to mention my place of birth also. Now, my place of birth is that of a district different than my permanent address. And as per government rules, I can only get my Birth certificate from the city of permanent address. But to my suprize they have mentioned my place of birth also as that of the city of permanent address. So i have ended up with two different places of birth, one on my passport, and one on my birth certificate (Both that of different cities)
I just dont know what to do now.
I wonder if birth certificate is mandatory. Some posts mention that a birth certificate is required only for dependent children. I do not have any children. Does it mean I dont require the birth certificate then? Would really appreciate your suggestions.
