Visa problem!

Hi There,

Help please!

My brother applied for visitor visa online on June 8 and got confirmation saying it is approved, and no extra documents needed. But he had not received any new messages and the 5740 form, so when he went to visa office and he couldn't get visa. We had tried different approaches, emails, phone calls, but no real response, except redirected to other call centers.

Any similar situations?

Where and who we should contact with?

Any suggestions or answers would be greatly appreciated!

what do you mean by passport request? at the end of the application, it indicated " you application was approved,. You need to send us your valid passport to finalize your application. so he went to a visa office with his passport and they say he must provide a 5470 form, which he should receive, but not.

There's no Form 5470 or IMM 5470.

A TRV will be approved only after the visa office receives the passport and makes a final decision.

He should have also received a passport request letter which states his UCI and Application Numbers. If he has not received this, he must email the visa office. He must submit this passport request letter + his passport to VFS/CVAC/visa office

I had confirmed with my brother, that he had received his UCI, and application number. is that means we are on the right track? Maybe the visa office and him had a misunderstanding last time? we will try again to see if we can success.
