Hello Everyone,
I am new to the forums. I have just discovered my potential eligibility for Express Entry profile by doing the online assessment.
But I do have couple questions that are hoping you guys can providing me with advice.
My background:
- I am an International student residing in the United States. I have lived in the United States for almost 9 years.
- Finished high school in the U.S., took a gap year to work(Skill Type 0 job), then went to university in the United States.
- Finished my bachelor's degree, acquired a job(Skill Level B/C job) at the retail bank.
- Was not happy with the first degree, went back to school for a second bachelor at a top 10 university in the U.S.
- Will finish my second bachelor in December. Also, I will be getting my master's degree from the same school(August of next year).
My question would be -- what is the best time to submit my Express Entry profile.
My concern -- the ECA will not evaluate my educational work in progress. Those programs are crucial to the point system, as well as for the job hunting.
The numbers -- 420 ish w/out second bachelor and masters.
Thus, would it be a good move to go with my first undergrad and hoping to get PNP from Ontario? Can I update my ECA and Express Entry profile once I receive my second bachelor in December?
I know I could potentially wait to submit my EE profile until 2018 when all my educational credentials are in. But, as we all know, the entire EE/PR process takes a long time, I am hoping to start early and relocate right after my master’s program.
Thank you for your time and advice.
