Recent updated news and 6month analysis on CRS draws and future invites, worth a read...

i totally agree even i m at crs 405 and waiting for score to drop downI would suggest just wait for next draw, atleast. Based on the cutoff u can decide between 2 options.
Additionally, I think cutoff will surely be near 400 after 3-4 draws. If u want direct ITA, u may have to wait till then.
At the end, its up to you to compare pros and cons of each option.

FSW eligibility is calculated usingI have CRS 403 and am in process of deleting and submitting my profile again in hope of OINP, I have overall experience of around 9 years, could someone help me whether I should mention all the experience as I did in my last profile or just recent 5 years. The reason being last 5 years I can just get letters for responsibilities later from my current employer ans previous one, beyond that i will have to contact another 2 employers.
I read somewhere on one of the Ray of hope threads earlier that it is better to mention just 3+ years in work expereince and mentione comeplete experience in personal details.
Not sure though if they we talking at what step:
1.) in express entry profile creation,
or
2.) in OINP application, once EOI is received
or
3.) submitting final federal application after OINP.
Kindly advise.
mmmm, going back a bit now, but in 1996 I applied for a student visa for a year. Best year of my life!Really.. Have you ever applied for a Canadian visa?
Hi guys,
Quick question about POF..
So if I'm showing the required amount while entry with appropriate documentation.. should I be freezing those funds even after entry?
So no one knows about this?Anyone please?
Also could someone please enlighten me with the payscale of Software engineers (.NET) (3+ years)..
Should I be disclosing all my bank accounts and credit statements/loans (which ever I have) to CIC??
thanks for the detailed information and advise.FSW eligibility is calculated using

U need to score min 67 out of 100...see if you come out as eligible with your said 5 years work experience.
If yes, then comes the CRS calculation which ranks candidates...in this, points for experience gained outside Canada is given maximum for 3 years...it doesn't matter if you have 3 years or 10 years, you get the same point...however you are required to provide supporting documentation for the work experience you list in work history...so why should you take the headache for no points...
---
you leave the work experience beyond 3 years / 5 years (see with the first link ur eligibility) and you can show them in your personal history while filing eAPR..there your are only required to state the experience (rarely they ask proof as it is understood that you may not have same)
--
make sure you stay eligible on the six fsw selection factors 67 points while trimming down the experience...you can try with varying years of experience and see for yourself..
I have only put in 3 years relevant experience..and will be showing remaining 7 years in personal history...

No one knows how low the scores will go my friend. The best advice I can give you is do everything in your power to increase your score and give yourself a fighting chance. Improving your language is perhaps the fastest way to increase your score, if you haven't maxed out already. For those with lower than 400 points what would be the lowest score in order to get an invitation to apply? Will it drop down to 350-360 or be around 360-370 or will never change? I think they recently announced that they will give a chance for those with a lot lower scores that a threshold of 400 and up?

All the best
Sorry to disappoint anyone, but, I do not think it is even possible to get below 380 or even 390. In fact, the bench mark in my opinion is 410.For those with lower than 400 points what would be the lowest score in order to get an invitation to apply? Thanks for sharing your opinion. However, I hope you know that until a few months back people were saying that there was no possibility of the score ever falling under 450. And as we all know the lowest CRS so far has been 413, which came as a shock to both the optimists and the naysayersSorry to disappoint anyone, but, I do not think it is even possible to get below 380 or even 390. Why?
Any student in Canada graduating from university with the 3 yrs program + 1 year work exp + 6666 in IELTS= 394
Any student in Canada graduating from college/u with a 1-2 yrs program + 1 year work exp + 6666 = 360-390
I mean it is just too easy for local students to get 360-400, and given the fact that there are way too many students graduate each year (or each term). So, CIC understands it just as well, that is why they are only looking for the top of the class and specifically those with high academic qualification or more years of experience or higher language. All in all, they won't invite average scorers because it makes EE system pointless, a good example is that they added relative thing and french speaking thing to make sure the score won't go down (IT WAS 413,lowest as it can get).
This is the brutal truth.
