Hi,

I am from India. I have created the express entry profile with experience of six years or more and scored 442 points. I have not received an ITA yet.
I am having confusion in NOC and its impact to the profile. To elaborate it, please find the table below for the summary.

After receiving the ITA and submission of documents::

1) What will be the impact when a case officer assess it?

2) Will the case officer consider other work experience which has the total of 76 months of experience (Six plus years) for further process?

3) Shall i write a LOE stating that "Kindly consider the experience gained except for the company "DD(9months experience)" and "EE(5 months experience) for calculating the years of experience"

4) Is my profile does not meet the requirement?

5) Other feedback

By considering the importance, I request all the elite and experienced people to share your feedback on the same. I would highly appreciate it and it would be of much help to take the decision.

You get maximum points for 3 years experience,

1. Use NOC 0621, then get reference letters from the jobs where you are confident the reference letters matches 50 to 60% of the R & R, for up to 36 months, as long as they are within the last 10 years, put them in your work history and still maintain your CRS.

2. choose NOC 6211 and wait for one more month to make both jobs 36 months, so that you can still claim maximum points.

Whichever one you go for, all the other jobs can go into your personal history, you will not have to provide reference letter for those ones.

Hey Dammieh, thank you so much for your information. I would like to say that the experience on NOC 6211was in the year 2006 to 2009, so i can't change it and I have got reference letters for all the roles :).

So, you are suggesting me that i should follow either one of the below:

  1. even though there is a mismatch in R & R for "DD(9months experience)" and "EE(5 months experience),the profile will not receive an impact as it has more than 36 months of experience!
  2. before i receive an ITA, i can remove "EE(5 months experience)" from the work experience page (I can't pierce it away the experience of DD (9months) because it is one of the role i played in the company - DD) and it can be added in the work history column, while i submit the documents after receiving the ITA !, which i can do..

Also, write a letter of explanation explaining all these and attach it to your application.

I just thought about it again, If BB, CC, DD (15 months) and FF fit in properly with NOC 0621, as long as they are within the last 10 years, you can use them alone, as I added them together and they are over 3 years, which will certainly give you the maximum points. You can leave DD(9 months) and EE in personal history, this is to avoid complications and confusing the VO. You should explain it in the LOE, that you decided to leave them out as they do not properly fit into NOC 0621, but you have provided information in personal history.
