Hi all,
I think my CSE files sent through have been uploaded. My review of additional documents section just changed to: The additional documents you provided have been uploaded. I am not sure which of the CSE was responded to if indeed my CSE has been attended to. I didn't get any email. Anyone else who has experienced this?

Ok cool, thanks for the feedback. Not sure which of the CSE was picked though. Raised three. The first one had just three documents. the other two had three. Guess we are back to the waiting game for PR.

What are you guys doing to pass the time? weekends are terrible for me. Weekdays are easy cos I am occupied with work. I find only playing football on my PS4 takes my mind off my application

Did you have any cause to worry in your medicals?
Yes, I have Crohn's disease and take Humira, which is a very expensive medication. My plan would be to keep paying for my country's national healthcare and bring 90 day supplies every time I or a family member travels.

Does anyone know if family members who come visit you in Canada are able to bring you medicines?

Thanks

I am about to receive mine on 12th . Lets see what all info it contains and when were they last updated.
Hey, if you don't mind, please share those notes with us when you get them.

It'll give us all an idea how gcms works, especially me since I don't know much about it.

Thanks

@legalfalcon
Is it worth to order gcms notes after getting pr visa?
I slightly remember once you advised about it.
What would be advantage of that?

Its a personal choice. However, 3 years down you will have to apply for the citizenship and will need the same info. So it i not a bad idea to have it for your records and also keep all these documents safe.

Thank you for the prompt reply.
I appreciate your insights into the future.

I'll go for ordering it once I get my visa.
Thanks again.

Hi. When did you raise a cse? I raised mine on 18th May and till today i do not see any change in the additional docs section.

I am so sorry to hear about that, but this is a condition you can improve by taking care of dietary habits and making few changes, hope you must be trying that. Now this disease no way a threat to them (i.e communicable or something), the only issue and doubt we have here is health care strain they might consider. But if you have specified that you will be taking care of your medical expense on your own and specified in your application in this regard, then I think it should be fine. You can take certain medications for yourself to Canada definitely as long as you have prescriptions and they are not restricted drugs. But relatives bringing some specific medicine for you i have no idea.
I have many relatives in Canada who while going back to canada after visiting India, carry tonns of medicines with them, as they say that in Canada they don't easily get meds as doctors don't prescribe medicines for minor issues like cold etc. They have no prescriptions also as far as I remember, but always get through. I have no idea though whether this is right, in accordance with rules or not.

I raised mine on 3rd June and I got it as UPLOADED in my profile yesterday. Try calling them. It looks like it triggers them to act on it!
