Under GCKEy account, VIEW MY SUBMITTED APPLICATIONS OR PROFILES, it says YOUR ACTION IS REQUIRED. I haven't received any emails yet to upload any documents (i checked both my hubby's and my own email addresses). Do i need to anything yet?

Happy news!! My ECAS got updated with 'application received' status But me or PA haven't received any AOR yet.

is there anyone who applied for TRV before applying to PR and the TRV got rejected?
In my case I applied for TRV just after the marriage and had stated that after I m addmitted to canada i will be applying for the PR in canada class...however they rejected it.
Now that I m preparing to submit the PR , I was surprised to know they need 8th and 5th class mark sheets also as my birth certificate was issued recently.
Its really problematic and tiring to get the 8th and 5th marksheet and I tudied in Kendriye Vidalya,and the office staff and principal are not at all co-operating.....Pls suggest if anyne face same situation and what did you do

Couple of questions... when does the principal applicant get an email from cic? Is it after sponsor gets SA? I (sponsor) got an email today, and it has application number in it. And says that my application is received. I can see the same massage in my ecas too. But PA hasn't received any email as of now. And where should I link the application? To sponsor's cic account or after PA creates a cic account and link to it?

Well in my case, PA didn't get any email either.. First I got AOR email, then I received another email on behalf of PA with pdf file asking PA to link her paper application to online account. And then third email as a confirmation of linked account. PA haven't got any email. Because we submitted "Authority to Release Personal Information to a Designated Individual (IMM 5475) " form along with application which basically makes me authorized person for PA's application.

You can link the file wherever you like as far as you put details of PA in required field. I have used my old user id password but filled details of PA while linking paper application. Also I used Last name and File number to search the file and then linked..!!

Update: Successfully linked application to PA's GC Key. Now PA can access application status in ECAS too. But still waiting for PA to get AOR email.

where did you get the infomrtaion that they need class 5 marksheet!
And what about Birth Certficate?
Aren't recently issues birth certificates valid?
Its issued by the government, why are they going to be in valid?

Create gckey acct usin applicant info only .. im sure u both can use the acct .. that is if ur hubby is ok with it .. i created the acct fot my hubby the applicant .. so its all abt what u two decide .. at the end of the day, only one acct gets created .. usin applicant info only ..
