Hi, When filling out the EE profile it asks about marriage,"what is your marriage status" and I selected legally separated, but on the PR form, it asks "how did the relationship end".I don't know what to choose, because we still married, but haven't been living together for 2 months and the glossary states.

""Separated means that two people are married but no longer living together, and they do not wish to live together again. They may be waiting for a divorce or have not yet decided to divorce."

So what am I to choose, when it asks how did this relationship end? the only options are:

Annulment
divorce
Death of partner
Ended the common-law relationship

You should probably select divorce since this is the most applicable option.

No because if you select divorce then you need to upload a divorce certificate to submit your application (I know because I had to do it).
so what do you think which option should I select because I have to apply asap and divorce will take much longer?

As @gaiou37 suggested, please call CIC for getting the right answer. This is a pickle kind of situation you have got into thats why we are asking you to ring up CIC itself.

You chose in the beginning "legally" separated which you are not. That's why it is asking how it ended.
