Can Renew a Multiple-Entry Temporary Visa or Do I need to reapply?

My mom & dad have a multiple-entry temporary visa which is expiring early 2018.

Is there a renewal process?

Or do I need to send them a letter of support and start the entire process over again?

There is no TRV renewal. They need to submit new applications.

Thank you! Do you know if they can apply while they still hold their visa or do they have to wait for it to expire? Theirs will expire in spring of 2018...

It's too early to apply now. They should apply a few months before their current TRVs expire.

How to apply or can she apply here in Canada before she go back to our country ? Does she need to apply for new application and what website do we go to?

She can only apply in Canada if she has a work or study permit.

Yes, it is a new application. How did she apply for her previous visa? I can't imagine the process will have been far removed from the time her last visa was granted, unless she had used a consultant previously and intends to DIY now.
