post ITA - Do I need to arrange IELTS reports be sent / make available to CIC?

Hi guys,

Just got ITA. A very silly question - do I need to ask my IELTS organizer to send CIC my IELTS reports? I never received my score report (presumed lost in the mail) but have a screen grab of my scores and TRF number.

Previously I asked the organizer to send an extra hardcopy TRF to OINP and got through the nomination process. At ITA stage, do I have to arrange the same logistics or CIC can automatically access my report because I provided the TRF number? Thanks!

Thanks for the comment but that was not related to my question. My question was weather CIC can automatically access my scores with my TRF number, or I will have to arrange a hardcopy to be sent via my ielts organizer.

They can access it. Everything is electronic now.

Although, they can, but if the VO checking your file is strict or your TRF doesn't get transferred in the application, it may create trouble. So it is recommended to upload it. You may check "Reasons for rejection" thread and check yourself that so many people have faced problems just because of this small thing.

Thanks again! Yup I'd absolutely upload it if I had it. My TRF was lost in the mail and the agency's policy says they won't release any second copy to the test taker. I have everything about this test, including a screen shot my of scores when I checked on line, correspondence with the test organizer regarding the loss of reports, test confirmation, etc. Everything but the test report.
Here is what want to do - I will ask the test agency to send CIC a report, then attach the mailing instruction and receipt as a proof of having done my deed to make sure CIC receive my report. With the TRF number, they can access to my reports. Hope that will give the VO some assurance.

That is the best you can do and I am sure that would certainly work. Explain in the LoE that you lost it in the mail and their policy of not issuing it again. Also attach the screenshot as you mentioned. above.
