Thanks for this heartening post, Bill.Hahaha. The only news at the moment is Nominations are coming this Friday. Hopefully, applicants waiting since Mid-May are expected to get Nominated. In the last 10 days almost everyone I know have got Procedural Fairness Letter and this indicates they are processing those applications now.
My friend sent Screenshots of Declined ITA on June 20 and His status is back to Decision in Progress today. So, hopefully he will be getting Nomination by this Friday as well.
Good Luck!
Am I the only one who hasn't received a Procedural Fairness Letter...?! Hey you, OINP, why don't you write to me?!Thanks for this heartening post, Bill.
Just to let bring to your notice that the status on the e-filing portal doesn't necessarily change for everyone.
My status was Decision in Progress when I received the Procedural Fairness letter and it remains Decision in Progress even now.
Question now will be on how to prove 2.5 years of experience. Because freelance jobs dont have good paperwork and it can be considered part time also. So basically 1560 hours per year needs to be justified. For Education you need to prove equivalency of atleast Bachelor for OINP. So, if you are claiming Masters then it should be fine. You can add Bachelor under Othet Activities and explain this in Letter of Explanation.
For experience just stick with your NOC 2173 and show this as your primary NOC and intended to work in as well. If you indicate that you want to work in different NOC then there are high chances that OINP will reject your application. There is nothing to worry if you are unemployed and looking actively for job.
Once you receive PR and done with your documentation in Canada, you can choose to do job of your own choice.
I hope this will help.
No no, it will be a simple mail with your file number in subject line. And then they will ask for some information. Like duplicate ECA or additional work documents.@Wandering Mind, can you kindly explain how can we tell a procedural fairness letter? is it an email with the subject "Procedural Fairness Letter"?
thank you for your response. No no, it will be a simple mail with your file number in subject line. And then they will ask for some information. Like duplicate ECA or additional work documents.
Yes this is a Procedural Fairness Letter. So you have also received it. This means all applications are being processed now.thank you for your response.
I have received this email:
Dear Omela :
Your Human Capital Priorities Stream application received on April 25, 2017, is currently being assessed.
File number: X.......
In order to continue the assessment of your application, OINP requires additional information related to the following program criteria:
Education:
OINP requires you to have a Canadian Bachelor’s, Master’s or Ph.D. degree or its equivalent. If your studies were completed outside of Canada, you must obtain an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) report produced by a designated organization indicating that your foreign education is the equivalent of a Canadian Bachelor’s, Master’s or Ph.D. degree.
If you have a foreign degree, please provide a copy of the ECA report issued by a designated organization.
Refer to page 5 of the application guide for more information on authorizing the organization to share the results of your ECA with the OINP,http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/prodconsum/groups/csc/@oipp/documents/document/oi_en_hcps.pdf
Settlement Funds:
OINP requires you to possess sufficient funds and/or income to cover the settlement costs for you and your dependent family members. Funds must be unencumbered, readily transferable in a convertible currency. The minimum amounts of funds is determined by the Low Income Cut-Offs (LICO) and based on the number of family members in your household. Please review the LICO chart for details,http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp
· Please provide copies of your bank statements for six months from (Sept. 2016 - March 2017) which demonstrate a personal account standing/final balance that meets or exceeds the Low Income Cost-Offs.
Note: Bank statements should include your name, account number, transit and institution number, account balance and currency.
You will have, at maximum, 15 days from the date of this request to submit the above requested documents for our review. Should the program not receive the requested additional information within the given timeframe, your application will be assessed based on the existing information on file.
Thank you for your interest in the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program.
Regards,
Investigator/Analyst
I sent them the required documents, stating that i was sending the same documents I had uploaded in the application.
Was this a procedural fairness letter?
Two weeks after this email i was asked to fill the CES consent form for ECA, and since than I am in DIP...
Approval that means you are Nominated if there is no additional information required.

Wait till the end of this month and if you still don't receive NOI then you can re-create profile in the first week of July.Hi Bill
Good to know.
A quick question: Is it advisable to recreate profile now or let we have to wait with existing profile only?
NOC: 2172
CRS: 407
Date of profile creation: 09 June 2017
The email I received had my OINP file number in the subject line. There was an attachment in the email and in the body of that attachment it said that it was a Procedural Fairness Request.@Wandering Mind, can you kindly explain how can we tell a procedural fairness letter? is it an email with the subject "Procedural Fairness Letter"?
