Urgent !!! Study Permit Extension (No application number after a week!)

Hello,
I have submitted my study permit extension on June 5th., I have received the receipt of payment immediately but I am still not received neither the submission confirmation nor my application number !!!
Has anybody here experienced this situation? I ran out of time and I am really worried about that; What should I do?
Is it a common technical problem in CIC website? Could it have an adverse effect on the processing of my application?
I have called CIC help center last week and an operator told me that the application number will be appeared whenever they open my file !!! Wrong answer because all of my friends received it within 24 hours after submission.

I applied for Extension on 16th June 2017,After 1 hour i received a confirmation email that my application have been received. but no application number yet

Same here, it has been a week. No submission confirmation letter and application number. I called help center and they told me to send a technical difficulty report on cic website. But still no response yet...
Anyone have an idea?

Please i have a question. My study permit is expiring the same day with my Visa and i have applied for study permit extension already......i want to know do i have to apply for Visa extension (TRV) separately or do the study permit extension covers that

I didn't receive application number, I phoned them twice and send the tech difficulty feedback. No response...
I think I may submit a new application!
