certificate in lieu of impedement

Hi guys....

i was told that i need certificate of single status or non impedement before getting married abroad.

i live in British Columbia and have no idea where to get that from.

any help would be appreciated

You need to check the country where you are getting married. In my case Russia so I had to hire a document service in Ottawa and they sent the information first to the Canadian government and then to the Russian. try google for a better description.

i am getting married in Fiji...the girl i am getting married to said i need to go to birth and death registry ..and its called single status certificate
