Hi everyone,

Its says:

•To apply, a minor must be less than 18 years old on the day the application is signed.

But what dors the below means ?

If an applicant turns 18 during the processing of the application, the applicant is still assessed against the requirements for a grant of citizenship as a minor.

Thank you

It means exactly what it says:

1) If applying as a minor, the person must be less than 18 on the day the application is signed.
2) If the minor becomes an adult while the application is being processed, he/she will still be considered a minor for purposes of the application.

In other words, if your 18 year old child turns 19 after the application was signed and sent in, he/she does not have to fill out a new application as an adult.
