Hi

What are the requirements of WEC?

I have completed bsc(h) maths from DU but i couldnt clear the subsidiary exams..actually the case is if you dont clear subsidiary subjects then the university will grant you general degree instead of honors degree.
so last time when i applied for transcript i had also applied for degree
So other day a guy from university told me they will not award me degree..because even if i fail i have to secure 25% marks in subsidiary subjects, which i dont see to make any sense..because its either pass or fail.

I have completed my mba degree from pune and i have a degree for that.

QUERY: So i am afraid, if i send my transcript to canada for WEC, ARE THEY GOING TO REJECT MY APPLICATION?
If they accept will they ask me for a degree?

Please reply to this as i am soon going to apply for PR. i have already paid alot to hired consultants.

If you don't have a degree, WES won't recognize it. Go here -> http://www.wes.org/required/index.asp

Choose India from the drop down, and read the requirements. Apparently you need to provide your Bachelor's degree for them to evaluate your MBA.

For all applicants submitting a Master’s Degree or PGDip earned on top of a three year Bachelor’s Degree (12+3+2) for evaluation, WES requires that you provide your Bachelor’s degree documents, otherwise WES cannot complete the evaluation.

hi thanks for the reply..but i have a laetter from the principal of my college saying that i will br awarded general degree..but university denied me to provide..
please tell me what should i do..i have compeleted all my documents and i have also spoken with my manager about my resignation..i cannot go back at this stage..please advise..can i attach that letter from the principal? i have worked onsite in centeral america, will it help?

Sorry, there's not much I can tell you. Perhaps you can try getting in touch with a lawyer to try and get your degree from DU- there's no point sending that letter or quoting your work experience, none of that will carry any weight with WES. They need a valid degree and transcripts, and those have to be sent by the institution (or by you, but in a sealed and signed envelope)

Perhaps someone else on the forum may have something to share from their experience.
