Dear All,

I appeared four times in IELTS and unfortunately, I could not go beyond 6.5 and 7.

In later half today, below, I will post my all details to see if some senior and experienced person can help me find some way to qualify.

1. I have seven years of experience in Electronics Engineer category.


DOB:04/04/1986: 31 years.

Single.

No relative in Canada - Can you give some suggestion? Is it possible to make some? Like marrying one? or like anything legal? Please advise.

IELTS taken on 3rd June. L&S: 7, R&W: 6 (overall 6.5)

No nomination certificate form a province or territory- Is it possible to obtain one? How?

Does Shehzad Muhammad Asim have a certificate of qualification from a Canadian province

or territory? No. how to get one:? Is it possible in my case

No. -------------What If I contact some small company and get one?

Well, I guess a lot of people would agree that practicing and getting a better IELTS score is far easier (and better) than trying to marry someone in Canada.

Well, unlikely. A certificate of qualification is given to someone whose occupation falls under "Trades" .

Skilled Trades currently eligible for the Federal Skilled Trades Program are organized under these major and minor groups of the NOC:

• Major Group 72, industrial, electrical and construction trades,
• Major Group 73, maintenance and equipment operation trades,
• Major Group 82, supervisors and technical jobs in natural resources, agriculture and related production,
• Major Group 92, processing, manufacturing and utilities supervisors and central control operators,
• Minor Group 632, chefs and cooks, and
• Minor Group 633, butchers and bakers.

No. -------------What If I contact some small company and get one?

If that were possible, everyone would be doing that, won't they? If you want points for job offer, that job offer must be backed by a positive LMIA (Labor Market Impact Assessment). This LMIA is hard to get and I doubt if an employer will spend so much on someone who doesn't have a legal status in Canada (and hence the employer has no idea when the applicant will land). This is still possible if you are extremely talented or if your occupation has extreme demand in any of the provinces.

In this year, I will get married too. How many points, I will get If my wife also pass through IELTS? and how much score she must have?

Degree : 23 : Bachelor degree in Electronics Engineering (I got WES certificate)

Experience: 15 ( I have 7.5 years of experience. I have experience letters for all jobs but the first job (1.5 years of experience) might not be proveable dspite experience letter as the company does not exist anymore.

What you are calculating is your eligibility points under the FSW points grid. You have to get at least 67 on this scale. Refer the link below -->

As an Electronics Engineer you are supposed to calculate your points for FSW. It is not hard at all. You are supposed to be applying for express entry !!!!! There are lot of other things you can do to improve your points. I can see your desperation but your desperation needs to be backed up by your results. According to your calculations, you are 1 point short for FSW. Try improving your ielts. THIS IS THE ONLY WAY TO IMPROVE YOUR SCORE!!!! AFTER SEEING YOUR POINTS BREAKDOWN, THERE IS NO OTHER WAY THANK YOU.

If I were 68, then I was able to lodge my application. It says that I am not eligible.

1. I thought I am CLB 7 and CLB 7 has 16 points?

One more point, I will add. My degree is from Pakistan( Not from Canada).

My advice would be to do the research yourself and find out. Google is your friend. Canada would prefer candidates who can calculate their CRS scores themselves.

I have rechecked my all points and I am sure all are correct except the engineering degree points.
I have bachelor degree in Electronics Engineering from Pakistan and my WES report says that Canadian Equivalency is Bachelor's Degree (four years).But I read through the categories of degrees on below link, I am confused where I fall. I have only one bachelor degree and no master degree. Please advise which category I fall in? The category of 23 points or 22 points or 21 points? Please tell me if you have questions.
