So my wife had her interview today and it went well.
Asked her bunch of questions. Visa officer was happy and told her next week they will email us on passport request details. She will be here by august or even sooner!
Was a great day today!

We are going crazy getting prepared and thinking we arent giving enough evidence lol.

Hello all, like everyone here my sponsorship application will be processed by the Vienna visa office. I have a couple of questions and would appreciate any advice you can give me.
1. How long does it take from the time i send in my application to being able to link it to my online account?
2. How long would it take to for them to turn over the application to the Vienna office after receiving it in Misissauga?

Hello. For us we could link our application only after the AOR was received with file number. However I tried several times even before getting AOR - wasnt successful. So you definitely can go ahead and try linking I think. As of your second question, our application was received in March by Mississauga and as of now is still there....so unfortunately I cant give you a time frame for that. Did you receive AOR already?

Thank you for your answers. I havent received the AOR yet but then again we only sent in the application last month in May. I guess we will wait for it and try to link it then. I also read about GCMS notes and how they can help you understand whats going on with the application. I Think i will order one about the CIC in a couple of months to stay up to date.
Currently im under a one year exclusion order which ends at the end of September of this year, will that hold up processing of my application or will the request an ARC. What if by the time they are processing the ARC my exclusion period is already up and i dont need one anymore?

As for GCMS notes - definitely no harm to have them ordered but my guess it will be more informative when the application is processed in the Vienna for some time. I am not familiar with ARC issues and how the process goes when you have it. Maybe you can create a separate thread and ask that as there are more experienced members who can advise.

Thank you! And Yeah the visa office was a really nice guy. Told my wife he will complete her application and that she will get her visa before her medicals expire which is on September.
We got lucky.

It's really good to hear that they are working on somebody's case at least.

I'm still waiting.
It's going to be one year since we give in the application on the 8th of July.
Already had an interview in October, they ask for police report and medical in November.
Because I need an arc they asked for fingerprints in December everything was in by January.
Beginning of this month they ask for the Arc repayment.
So hopefully I'm close to the end!
