When does background check go in progress ? (Ottawa VO)

Hi Kcward7 my case they started processing my application for the Permanent residence on January 2017, but I have no Idea if they started processing my Background check . its been 8 months since they received my application and no news at alll.

I know, it's hard...we're Mar 1 applicants at London VO so I totally get it, we just don't have a linked account, only ecas.

Yes no news, I requested notes, hopefully they will be ready by first week of July, I hope I get some information there

Hi, I'm an April 2017 (inland) applicant.

I was wondering if anyone here has experienced or is experiencing a delay for a request for schedule A?

CIC sent me an email (with UCI and application number) to request to link my app online on May 11th(2017), and I did so, but nothing has happened since.
I see most applicants received a request for it soon after they got AOR.
I thought that email was AOR and am now wondering if AOR is different from it.

My husband's visa office was also Ottawa. His application went into background processing (according to the application status) a little over 2 months after it was transferred there. Then it went from Background Processing to Decision Made in about a week (just last week). We applied in January. So, if you're a March applicant, it hasn't been long at all.
He did the medicals upfront.
