Yes Rita that's true. It changed to IP on June 2 .was waiting eagerly and finally it came .wish u also a speedy PPR !!!!

Mine is: AOR 27th Jan, Medicals 24th Feb, Add Doc for Travel History requested and submitted on 30th March, nothing since then. No notes in my file after submitting the additional document submission.

Still waiting here. CEC Inland, AOR Jan 29. Only update was when medical passed, background check IP since then.

Congratulations . Im stucked at bg check since 7th June. AOR - 23 June. Don't know what they doing.

ritawallu, don't lose your optimistic spirit - there should be a reason for you BG check taking so long. Did you travel a lot in the last 10 yrs? I have only 1 two days trip during the mentioned period, so I guess this along with providing some docs in advance (OPNP nomination, Schedule A) and paying RPRF upfront have resulted in swift processing of my application.

I am sure you'll get your long-awaited letter very soon, and I hope you will share your joyful emotions with us )

b4ahmad, I am in the same situation and in fifth month as well. Was requested to do medicals on 24 May, Medicals passed in June, not sure about actual dates, I don't keep track of the changes. Background Check Not applicable.
I also wrote CPC Ottawa and they said the application is with CIO Sydney Nova Scotia. Don't know what that all means.

What is your stream, and how many family members you have in that application? Its frustrating to wait such a long time from AOR Jan-08. They say CEC is fast, but it is not, I,l have 180 days on July 8th, but so far there is no movement in my application.
