Hello Seniors,

Please help me out here on the dates that i need to mention in police certificate of Pak,

1st UAE residence visa (Jan 2012 - Feb 2013) - but i entered UAE in Oct 2011
2nd UAE residence visa (Sept 2013 - Till date)

During my entire stay in UAE, i have been travelling on and off to my home country (Karachi Pakistan), and even after my cancellation of first visa in Feb 2013, i have travelled back to UAE on visit visa and stayed there for a while only until i got my another visa in Sept 2013.

My last visit to Pakistan was in April 2017, so my question is do i need to make police certificate with the date from my 18th Birthday to April 2017 or until my 1st UAE residence visa or the day i entered UAE first time? I am very confused in this, please advice anyone.

If i write the date until Oct 2011 on PCC. What about all my travels to Pakistan after that? i dont have a track even as the travels are very frequent because i was completing my studies also with the work.

Appreciate quick response from any guy who has faced this or had an idea about this as this is the last required document for me to submit in PR application.

anyone please respond?
FOR Pak PCC you will have to request for the period when you turned 18 to the date of your last visit (April).
For UAE they will not ask you period or they will not mention any date. They will just mention there findings without giving any details of your stay period !

You can apply, As many times as you want. They don't have any Database to be honest.
Just send a representative with the recent exit entry stamps so that they will mention the PCC issued date is your Entry date in UAE.

G luck

Hello Owais. This is is a dilemma and I feel your pain. I have also lived in 2 cities in Pakistan, Karachi and Islamabad and got PCC issued from both, although I haven't permanently lived in Pakistan since 2004. I moved to UK in 2004 and then came back for 8 months in 2007 and then went back to UK in 2008 and came back to UAE in 2013. Been living permanently in UAE since then.

The duration mentioned on the Pakistan pcc seems to be a concern. My consultant had asked me get a pcc covering the most recent date I visited Pakistan and when I checked with the police they said I need to provide proof of address for the duration that I claim to have stayed in Pakistan and I have to mention the dates of my stay at the address on the form which they will mention on the PCC. When i explained them the situation they said they can't provide a pcc if I was a visitor so they will provide one covering the whole duration and the pcc will say this person has been residing at the address from xxx date till now. This won't be right as the Pakistan pcc will say resident in Pakistan and the documents show I am resident in UAE.

So I have submitted my case yesterday and sent them 4 pcc's covering the durations I was permanently resident in Pakistan (1983-2001 Karachi) (2001-2004 + 2007 Islamabad ) (And 2 more from UK and UAE)

If We provide a PCC from pakistam till now won't it be a conflict of dates as the PCC will state this person is permanently resident at this address till the current date, while actually as per my documents it's obvious I am permantly living/working in UAE duration those years.

Sorry for the long message but I am worried as I don't want to spoil all the hard work because of this pcc.

Hello Dilemma,

Firstly, (i think) the purpose of the certificate is to make sure the person is clear from any criminal offence or case where he/she has lived.

Now, i have asked Pakistan police stations and they have told me that they can't mention all the dates as per the passport. they look for period of substantial stay or the recent visit/ First exit. Also they told me its not possible for them to write all the dates as the PCC will be of so many pages.

My Concern,

(1) if we write the date from 18th DOB to First Exit from Pak:
I have traveled back to pak after that so many times that i can even remember. so if they will go through only the recent stamp pages on passport they will know i have traveled to pak but the PCC will be mentioning the date which was way before. In this case, there is no justification of my clearance as of today. so CIC in this case might ask us to provide the certificate of any particular stay (after the first exit from pak). which is very reasonable.

(2) if we write the date from 18th DOB to Recent Visit:
No doubt it will be mentioned in the PCC of Pak that "xyz" person has been residing at "xyz" address from 18th DOB to (recent exit date). This is surely over lapping my residence status in UAE. but atleast it is covering all my visits to Pak during the time and it is making sure that i am clear of any offence or criminal activity.

Moreover, i reckon there is an option of LOE which can make things more clear for visa officer.

what are your thoughts on this? (please correct me if am wrong).
