Hello there everyone,

I hope you all are doing great. I had a question regarding PCC for Express entry under the Canada Experience Class.

I obtained a PCC from Beijing, China while I was living there last year in 2016.

I got my PCC and left Beijing, China after 2 months.

Now I am planning to apply for my Express Entry next year in 2018.

My question is that since I got my PCC from China 2 months before I left the country and have not gone back to China at all after that, would I need to get a new PCC for my express entry or would my old one suffice?

__________________________________________

My next question regarding CELPIP would be that I would be taking the test next month to start preparing all my documents for my express entry. Could you please tell me how long would my CELPIP results be valid for after I tale the test for my EE application?

Last but not least my Education Credentials. Could anyone tell me if Sikkim Manipal University from India is recognized by WES for Masters degree?

Thank you all for helping me out with these questions.

Have a great day.

Warm regards,

-Joe

1 - Yes, you need a new PCC from China.

2 - Valid for 2 years from the date of the test.

3 - Not from India so can't help you there.

The issue here is that your PCC does not cover the time up to when you last lived in China. (In short, it is missing two months).

Get a new one.

If you are Chinese you need a new one. In my case, despite I got the PCC after my last departure it does not cover my full stay there, only the time I was with a working visa. But this are their rules for non-citizens, they do not include periods with tourist visa on the PCC...
