Multiple NOCs employment reference letters

Hello everyone,

I submitted my EE profile and was selected for ITA. I am arranging to request Employment Reference letters in my designated area which is NOC 0213.

I have total of 7+ years of experience, 3 years and 9 months of it related to NOC 0213 directly, rest is 2171.

My questions are:

1) What is the maximum number of years accepted for a specific NOC? e.g. what is the max point I can claim & what does it equate to in terms of # of experience years?

2) Do I claim points for NOC 2171 (not selected as my primary NOC in EE profile) if I submit reference letters and documentation?

3) If answer to question #2 is NO, is it best to exclude it from Work history, and then include it in Personal history, and mention details in LOE? or is it safer to keep it in Work history and get as much proof as possible (I'm facing difficulties claiming ref letter for NOC 2171)


P.S: My IETLS results were:
Speaking 8 - Reading 9 - Listening 8 - Writing 6.5

Not sure what that equates to in terms of CLB.

1. points max out at 3yrs (for experience outside Canada/Primary NOC alone or clubbed with other NOCs..the only use if u add any further exp is unnecessary delay in process as they will do the verification for all records updated.
2.Since you have more than 3 yrs in 0213,forget about 2171..include in personal history.
3.As at present u already have an ITA,I'm not sure if you are allowed to delete.But you may do so in my opinion with an LOE moving it to personal history.CIC clause in regards to 'changes in personal circumstances' looks if changes affect your CRS score and if it doesn't they don't bother...even if it does & ur score stays above the cut off of ur draw, you can't be declined. So,in my opinion,move to personal history,write an LOE and scan the proofs also along with it(just to be on safer side )

My experience is outside of Canada, so I believe I will only include the 0213 experience.

1.the maximum points allotted for work experience outside Canada is attained at 3 years..your score goes higher if you have an year of work exp in Canada. so,with 0213 u get the maximum and by avoiding 2171 you are saving time...both at this stage and while processing at their end as they will go check with all companies irrespective of the score and it will cause a delay without any value to

1.i was addressing the suspicion part by scanning the proofs...
when u write the letter of explanation,you can explain that you have moved part of ur work experience to personal history as
a) it doesn't reduce my CRS points
b) i couldn't arrange the reference letter as per the requirements of CIC and,the available proof of that employement is attached along with this LoE.
Type ur LoE print & scan whatever proof u have from 2171 and make it all into one PDF less than 4mb.
choose ur own style to frame the LoE....and you may have to use the LoE for few other things too...so,the LoE could be a single file with LoE1 : Change in Work history LoE 2 : Proof of Funds
