My case was different since I have shown my mother as she is going bear her own expenses. In your case, since you are the sponsor, you have to provide your own financial status in order for a successful application. I think there is a cap on how much you earn defines how many persons you can sponsor. The documents that you listed would support the application in proving your parents country ties and reasons of return to the country. In the invitation letter you must clearly indicate that who's the sponsor and that your parents would return to the country after their visit.

On the question is to how much funds available for the visit: it should reflect to the duration of the visit. You haven't mentioned for how long they would be staying so I can't tell exactly if that is enough or not. You can do something like explain in the letter that your parents would buy the tickets and you will bear expenses here in canada including anything from food to medical expenses. check other threads too to see how much money is enough to sponsor two persons. I'm sure these question have been answered before.

Good Luck

I think your income is good so that won't be a problem. If you can explain the 2500 $ for three months, that would be great. As I suggested, check other threads as well just to be on the safe side as I'm not an expert on financial matters and I can only take ownership of what I have applied in the past and have worked for me. If I were at your place, I would have also shown at least 18000 CAD in my account, but again that's just me. May be that's not the case. So check other threads too before you submit the application.
