12 days since I sent my passport to Ottawa. return tracker is still not activated, granted 4 days were non-business days but still come on. Counterfoil information appeared on MYCIC 7 days ago so the passport was stamped then. I don't get whats the wait for!

Keep checking your mail box. Some times return tracker is not activated this happened to one of my friend.

I am getting nervous. Its been 16.5 months now. and I have got nothing?? BG changed to in progress and that is it. Can't connect to Call center as they are "busy". Should I apply for Express Entry?

Guys thanks for so much info and updates.

We have applied for OINP in Jan 2016 and received ITA on 23rd Feb. Had finished with all the paper work and Medical's and PCC.
Submitted al the documents to CIC on 31st March. Got acknowledgement for the same too.
We are OINP FSW Outland.
Can anybody please suggest how long is the wait?
Thanks in advance for same.

Don't worry about that. You can apply for BOWP and request refund as soon as you are landed. I applied for BOWP on paper in March 2017. IRCC didn't started working on my file yet. I requested cancelation and refund on last Friday through case specific enquiry and I got positive response today morning.

You're not alone. I guess we almost have the same timeline, i am feb 11 applicant, cic asked for my renewed passport copy last May 4 i send it the same day. I called call center last week and the agent said my BG is not yet started. My Owp is expiring on july 5 and i am planning to renew it anyday this week.. hoping and praying always that we will get PPR the soonest!
