Hello Everybody,

Any input will be appericiated. I am getting frustrated because of the long wait. Please share your knowledge/experience.

I received an invitation on 4th of jan 2017 and submitted all the documents on 31st jan. Since then I have left Canada and I am back in my home country for about 2 months. I received a message asking for fingerprint based PCC feom canada which I provided them on 13th of may.

I understand that BG checks are the most time consuming process. My question is how long have you guys waited to receive PPR in similar situation and also does my application gets transferred to a visa office in my home country and that takes more rime?

Please help a brother out here. I am getting a little anxious here. Thank you.

Okay, you have to tell your stream, date of AOR, date of meds passed etc., so that we have some idea about your timeline and then someone will definitely help you out.

Now from your post I gather you are a CEC and your AOR is January 31, in that case this is a bit way off from CEC timelines as CEC get very fast processing in almost 90 days for average normal cases.
But nothing to worry sometimes they take longer for certain candidates to finalise PPR, as per your timeline it should be anytime now.
Yes your file could be transferred to LVO or maybe at CPC ottawa etc. Nobody could be certain until and unless you ask about your VO by an e-mail to CIC.
The best way to know details of your case is to call CIC or e-mail them. Another way is to order GCMS notes, but they take 30-40 days to arrive.

-You can know your Visa Office by sending an email to CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca

This is the email format they require:

IMPORTANT: You must provide us with your application number in the subject line of your email and include in the body of your email the following information:

* Surname and Given name(s)
* Date of birth (YYYY-MM-DD)
* Unique Client Identifier (UCI) number / Client ID number
* Category of Immigration (CEC, Provincial Nominee, Family Class, Federal Skilled Worker, Temporary Resident)

- You can call CIC on - 1-613-944-4000
Use Skype, for international calls.
For GCMS, you can use third-party websites like https://www.getgcms.com/.
