IP1 wordings

Hi,

I passed my medical yesterday & then BG status changed to:
"We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information".

Is this IP1 OR will it change to some other status like 'we are processing your application....', before changing back to NA?

You can't be sure from the wordings. People are getting different bg statuses after medicals pass. I have a different one from what you got.

Right, that is why I'm not sure if I should consider it as IP1 or should wait more till it becomes NA.

IP1 is Temporary Resident Permits, Yes there will be background check ,if needed. after receiving all the documents upload them, make the payment and submit the eAPR.

Dont worry. IP1 is a stage after you pass medicals and after you submit and after you get AOR. Since you have 90 days to submit, dont worry about all this. You are about 5 months away from IP1. All these are for people who are passing medicals after AOR! The ones who have already submitted their applications!

IP1 is post AOR status. Once your medicals are passed, background check will be conducted. Looking at where you are, you don't need to worry about it for next 2-3 months.

Right after you submit your eAPR, you receive an AOR (Acknowledgement of Receipt)
