Hi, i have got an ECA for my Masters Degree which thankfully is equivalent to masters in canada too. in this case, should i mention my bachelors and high school in the form? It is to be noted that i have NOT got an ECA for my bachelors.

That is not needed... just mention about Masters as you will get maximum points for this...

Also, in case you are referring to post ITA, you are required to share details pertaining to High School and Graduation, however ECA is required only for highest qualification.

thanks Link2gurdeep. i am only talking about the EE form right now. so i will only mention my masters degree and likewise for my spouse.
so does this mean that one should only include factors we are claiming points for in the express

One has to include all the details personal, professional, academic... however, those used in claiming points need to be substantiated with proofs...

so when you are creating your profile in EE, you are required to select your highest education. You need to select the option based on WES evaluation, in your case it is Masters... tool will automatically add points of masters... same goes for your spouse...

when it comes to submitting the documents you are required to submit all the academic documents high-school, graduation, post-graduation and WES report etc...

Not quite - you don't always need to submit all the academic documents. You just need to submit documents that validate your highest degree. In my case, it was a copy of the ECA, a copy of my masters degree, and I tossed in my transcript even thought I didn't need to. I didn't provide anything related to my bachelors, high school etc. I didn't even mention that in my education history, though of course it was included in my personal history.

The caveat is that the rules apparently differ based on your country of residence and where you studied. I have heard that Pakistani applicants are asked to submit everything.

please let me get this clear, when you talk about personal history and education history- all this is post ITA? because in the EE form i have just signed into, it does not have such question.

Guys

I have a question about the EE form. I have done a post secondary diploma of 3 year after SSC and completed my bachelor of engineering after diploma.
I have assessed my degree and diploma certificate by WES.
Now when i enter only my degree certificate details in the EE profile i get a score of 372 and
when i add my diploma details in the EE profile i get a score of 392.
I am tempted to add diploma as well as it is adding 20 points in my profile and I have got it assessed by WES.
Please advice ....

It will depend on what the WES report says the equivalency is. If the WES report says its a bachelors degree then go ahead and enter it as a degree, however, if the WES report says anything which is less than a bachelors degree (see image below), then representing it as a degree would be incorrect and grounds for rejection (rejection can happen as late as AFTER you get ITA, i.e. have paid the CAD 500 fee, non refundable) ...

I have assessed both my degree and diploma with WES.
The Bachelor of engineering degree is 4 years canadian degree equivalency and
the diploma is equivalent to two year program at a university college or technical school or other institute.
I do not have any doubt about the equivalency of my engineering degree.
My doubt is regarding mentioning both my credentials in the EE profile
As I have mentioned
1. if i include Diploma (2000 - 2003 - 2 years equivalent ) + Degree ( 2003 - 2004 Bachelors degree - 4 years equivalent) I get 392
2. If i mention only Degree ( 2003 - 2004 Bachelors degree) I get 372

Please advice

Do you have a certificate for the diploma that was awarded?

Yes i do have a diploma awarded for my coursework and i have got the diploma evaluated by WES
@Sahussain, based on that I would be inclined to indicate it as "Two or more certificates ..." option. However, try posting in other related threads as well or search the forums for people with same experience ... this is my best estimate only based on what I know, but I am not the most experienced...

sorry if the answer was not completely satisfying ...
